I've been getting contemporary books lately. And I love it!

I also want to thank everyone for your wishes regarding my hip. I'm doing well at the moment and getting used to the crutches. And boy, it's a lot of upper body work! This will have to do for three weeks. That includes taking the elevator at school. It makes me feel special because only injured people + teachers take the elevators.

I hope you're all having a nice week! Spring's in the air, have you felt it yet? ;)

Any thoughts (*No major spoilers*):

It is the second book, and I’m already way hooked. A perfect sequel, to say the least. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Going back to Richelle Mead’s vampire world was easy because I knew the basics -- what a Moroi is, what a dhampir is and what their duty is, who the bad guys are. We get to learn a few more things, which excited me. Rose is seriously a fantastic heroine. Sure, she sometimes doesn’t follow some rules (her relationship with Dimitri is an example of that) and she can be reckless, but she can kick major ass. Her voice is outstanding, sharp, and amusing all at once. It’s hard not to be enchanted and to stop reading.

Throw Rose and the other awesome characters into the action-packed plot and we have a masterpiece. As well as drama. Especially boy drama. This will be one hell of a series and I can tell it will rank among my top faves.

First Injury Ever

So today my hip dislocated.

It's back to normal now but it was a really long wait. I was also unconscious when they popped it back in. And boy, did it hurt before. It was stuck in the same position for hours!

I'm alright at the moment though. Crutches will have to do for now. Im sorry I'm not able to put up a Teaser Tuesday. I was even going to start reading The Sky Is Everywhere today.

But Ill be back when I can. Regard this as a momentary leave of absence. :) Thanks for understanding!

I thought the paperback is going to be released in June, but I guess I got it early! Or something. But ahhhh, when I got it I was so, so happy. It looks so beautiful. Now I've heard tons of lovely things about it and I just cannot wait any longer to read it!

But the question is (and seriously, I need help with this): Which book should I read first?
The Iron King or The Sky Is Everywhere?
