Borrowed

Leftovers by Laura Weiss

This is a schedule post because by this time I will be away for work for the summer. But I just had to add this book since I'm taking it with me! It may not be much but it's something. Thanks Steff for letting me borrow it, you kind soul! She knew the books I have right now won't last me long ;) She's also the one who's curious about Fifty Shades of Grey and is willing to read it to see what the hype is going on about. On another note, I think it's time to switch to a new meme that features new books...except I don't know what meme to adapt. Anywho, I will check back in three weeks!

Have a great weekend!

What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen

Won from Cindy at Oodles of Books

Invincible Summer by Hannah Moskowitz
Divergent by Veronica Roth
---

Another book from the library with DVDs again, haha. I can't get enough of the DVDs and most of all they're free to loan from the library! :)

I missed Sarah Dessen sooo much!! I'm too excited to start reading this one :D The description of Invincible Summer has always made me want so badly to read the book...so let's give this one a try. And finally, Divergent. Finally, finally, finally. I get to become a part of the hype now once I finish reading the book hopefully. I AM JUST SO HAPPY. THANK YOU CINDY, AND THANK YOU LIBRARY!!!

Finally, another book from the library along with 3 DVDs! Cheers! Summer is so kind.

...Speaking of summer, I will be working at a camp/resort for the summer where there will be limited internet available. That means I won't be able to actively blog and comment. It makes me sad. But I will promise to put up some posts and visit your blogs once in a while. You guys are so awesome for sticking with me! :)

From the Library

Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
---

This book is sooooo overdue! And what I mean by this is that I was supposed to read this last summer...and then school happened. But it's no big deal -- better late than never! I've read comments about this last book in the series and I must admit...I'm so excited! I'm also just slowly getting into reading for fun again. First book from the library this summer! Hooray!

From Audrey (themostawesomestpersoninthewholewideworld) at Holes in My Brain:
These books were delivered via an awesome, kind friend who met Audrey. I thank Caitlin with all my genuine book love.

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
Blood Red Road by Moira Young
Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King
---

What a busy, exhausting week! And ahead of me is a busy, busy weekend but with a bit of fun, fun, fun! Basically, receiving these three books made my whole entire weekend. THANKS TO AUDREY. AUDREY, WORDS CANNOT EXPLAIN TO YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU RIGHT NOW, AND I ALREADY TWEETED YOU THIS BUT I STILL WANT TO SAY IT. *haaaaappppyyyyysmiileeeyyyfaceeeee* If only I had this weekend to indulge in reading these three books. I totally would! I want to read these three sooooooooooo bad, you do not even know. It's going to be a good week, though, that I do know. This week was just hell -- so, so tiring. But enough about me... I do hope all you lovely people have a fantastic weekend! :)

From the bookstore:

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

From Sarah at Read Away the Day:

Love Walked In by Marisa De Los Santos
---

Funny how I said before that I wouldn't buy John Green's newest book. But a friend called me up to say that she was buying it on release day...and I could not pass the chance! I AM SO EXCITED TO START IT! The rating on goodreads for TFIOS increased after release day, which can only mean it's a good thing. SO EXCITED!

Sarah also lent me Love Walked In (which was from a while ago), which may lean more toward the adult genre. The books she recommends me are always sooo good and I thoroughly enjoy all of them. So we'll see how this goes! She also lent me Clockwork Prince, except I didn't include it here because I have read it already and absolutely loved it. Who would have predicted? :P

I am way too behind in reviews, but I won't be able to write them until February (my reading week aka a temporary moment of utter bliss and doing nothing, well maybe writing up a paper). School has started once again and it will be quite busy for me. So I've scheduled some reviews to be posted every Thursday. I hope that will do for now! Talk to you all bloggers and readers soontimes! :)

I haven't had an IMM in the longest time. And I've also been abandoning this blog. For that, I am sooooo sorry! This weekend I will be trying to catch up with commenting, preparing posts, etccc. And it's Thanksgiving this weekend! HOORAY!

I would like to thank Macmillan Children's Publishing Group for these books! Could you also believe I haven't read for fun in a month? It's crazy impossible. I promise I'm not fading away! I'm still here! :D

Have a great weekend, everyone! And to Canadians, I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend! Yay, turkey!

Well, as you see, I have arrived last week! And I've been making some pretty good progress, everyone (I've been commenting! :D). My laziness is slowly going away, thank goodness for that. My mind has been on a creative run lately too so that would mean I'm thinking of a new layout. Colour suggestions, anyone?

Have a great weekend!

[Currently on a road trip to Florida so this post is queued!]

This is my reading list for Florida. Possibly. I don't think I could go through all of this on my trip, though, since I'll be doing lots of things (DISNEY WORLDDDD!!!!) Hoooooray!! I may try reading on the road...although sometimes I get a little woozy. But just the thought of having so many things to read -- it makes me utterly happy! Haha! Especially since I've been considering reading the entire Harry Potter series. Uhuh. Finally, right? I must own the books though. I'm picky when it comes to owning books. I don't own much but that's one series I'd definitely like to own! I already have the last two books. (Yup I cheated and read the last two books. I think. Don't even ask about my non-existent Harry Potter obsession.) Since I'm not on the Harry Potter bandwagon, I'm not going to be talking about the movies either and how the last one just came out because I've yet to watch it from the beginning. Totally lacking devotion here to the ultimate series ever. But it's only because I came late into the book stuff.

ANYWAY. Too much Harry Potter! Ahh! I will be in Florida until next week so that means posts are on queue for now. Meanwhile, I hope you're all having a wonderful summer! :) :) :)

THE SUMMER BOOK CRAZE BEGINSSSSSS!!!!!!! YAYYYAYYYYY!!!

I am just so happy when I got these library books on Wednesday. It made my entire month!!! I absolutely missed reading during the summer. Having no books to read for a couple of days when summer started felt incomplete. I'm happy happy happy as a bird!

The list above is the order I'm going to read these books in. Most of them are summer reads. As in, they take place in the summer. Some were just available in the library so I got them. I had to have some books immediately, you know? Plus, I've been restless for a couple of nights this past week. With no book to read, other strange thoughts swarm my head. Reading before bed actually really helps me. I can't live without books! Haha.

I hope your summers are going well fantastically. The ultimate fun is yet to come for me. NEXT WEEK I'LL BE GOING TO FLORIDA. *CHEEEEEEEEEEEEERLEADER CHEEEERS* Woopee! Who's excited? I'm excited! Alrighty! So, I'll be resting this week and I'll be commenting lots. Watch out for me! Woo!

I haven't read the first book in the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent so I've yet to check that out before getting to My Soul to Steal. The cover is mesmerizing, though! And as for The Iron Queen, I'm loving this series. It's freaking good.

It's been a long week, don't you think? Lovely weather. I just cannot wait any longer for vacation in July and August. It's going to be the best summer ever! :D :D

Have a spectacular weekend, guys!

Borrowed (from Sarah):

Summer At Willow Lake by Susan Wiggs

---

Hehe, another book borrowed from Sarah! She knows how I love romance and the giggly feeling when there's a good romantic part. She strongly recommended this one, although it's not one I would usually go for at first glance. Yes, the cover's the first thing I see. It's also an adult book. But from the first page and from what Sarah has described, it sounds like a Sophie Kinsella book!
You know, the funny heroine who gets into the silliest of all situations and then falls for the gorgeous guy? I absolutely love those!

This book is part of a long series, actually. We'll see how it turns out. It's a summer book *squeal!* which is making me even more excited for summer, too.

Hope you're all enjoying the great weather out there and have a fabulous weekend :) For me, it's busy times. Once again.

The Secret Year by Jennifer R. Hubbard
The Summer of Skinny Dipping by Amanda Howells

Won:

Wither by Lauren DeStefano (Received from Becky via The Book Depository)

Borrowed (from Sarah):

Sorry for the qualities of these pictures...I was feeling lazy. But anyway, what a great week for books!!! Spent my gift cards on those 3 books...Wow, I never knew bookstores could be so expensive. And I knew I had to get at least one summer book as well as Anna and the French Kiss. OH MY GOSH ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS! I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE IT! Now I must get to reading it soon!!!

And thanks to Sarah again for letting my borrow another book! Gosh, the cover for The Iron Daughter is so beautiful, isn't it?!

What a busy weekend I have. All the time is spent working on projects that are due on Monday and I have so much to do still. The life of a student sometimes...Not to mention the gloomy weather! So much rain is falling, seriously. And the sudden change in humidity is giving me headaches...

But I wish you all a fantabulous weekend! Happy reading!

Won:

Delirium by Lauren Oliver (Received from Stephanie via The Book Depository)

Borrowed (from Sarah):

---

Whoa, I totally screamed in delight when I got Delirium and saw it's beautiful hardback cover. I've been waiting so long to read it and now I got the chance to. Thanks soooooo much, Stephanie!

Sarah and I swapped books: The Iron King for Clockwork Angel. Both beginnings of a possibly amazing series. :D And so far, Clockwork Angel is pretty darn good.

I LOVE THE MONTH OF APRIL! Only because of plenty of days off. Oh and also because the weather is becoming so much more like Spring...and then after that, SUMMER! But then what also makes me sad is the fact that I can't play rugby anymore this season, which means I will never play rugby ever ever again. Because I will definitely not play it while in university. It would be too intense.

But enough of my ramblings, I hope you all have a fabulous, warm weekend! :)

I've been getting contemporary books lately. And I love it!

I also want to thank everyone for your wishes regarding my hip. I'm doing well at the moment and getting used to the crutches. And boy, it's a lot of upper body work! This will have to do for three weeks. That includes taking the elevator at school. It makes me feel special because only injured people + teachers take the elevators.

I hope you're all having a nice week! Spring's in the air, have you felt it yet? ;)

The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson

---

I thought the paperback is going to be released in June, but I guess I got it early! Or something. But ahhhh, when I got it I was so, so happy. It looks so beautiful. Now I've heard tons of lovely things about it and I just cannot wait any longer to read it!

But the question is (and seriously, I need help with this): Which book should I read first?
The Iron King or The Sky Is Everywhere?
