If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?

I always take forever to answer these types of questions that deal with characters because it's just so hard, okay! So this will be one of my many answers:

In a television show, I'd swap places with Nikita (played by Maggie Q) from the TV show called Nikita. Anyone know the show? If so, you would know that she broke free from a secret government team (called Division) who are the baddd guysss! Now they're performing operations as well as hunting her down.  So why would I want to switch places with Nikita? Because she's kick-ass, she's fit, she's good and not evil, and she has a little thing with Michael (played by Shane West, from A Walk to Remember's Landon). :)

It’s time to spread some love beyond the borders of the Book Blogger Hop! This week, we aren’t answering a question. We are spotlighting our fellow bloggers. Find your favorite(s) author interview(s), guest post(s), book review(s), or bookish article(s) that ANOTHER BOOK BLOGGER featured on their site recently and tell us why you love it/them! As an additional challenge, find your favorite one of EACH of the categories above and spotlight all 4 (interview, guest post, review, article).

I love Audrey's posts over at Holes In My Brain so I chose a guest post of hers during "movies In My brain" which featured nothing but movies for a week in the summer. It's entitled "Guest Post: Movie to Book adaptations" and features Rebecca from Rebecca-Books! The guest post includes the latest adaptations from books to film. Surprisingly, I haven't watched most of them and I love movies but I have a rule and it is simply this: Read book first, watch its movie second.

Sooooooooo sorry for not updating too much this week! I didn't get to prepare posts either. University has been fun so far, but you know, there's that busy aspect as well. And the month of October will be INTENSE. I might just end up scheduling posts. Unfortunately. It will be a hectic month. Nursing can be one heck of a program, I swear. But I love it so far and it's something I definitely want to do. Now, onto the book blogger hop! :)

What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

This is actually a pretty good question which I really love! I would looove to see any Sophie Kinsella novels. They're fun, hilarious, and absolutely romantic with some true depth. Kate Hudson can totally ace a Sophie Kinsella's MC. From her previous movies, I totally believe in her.

In honor of Banned Books Week, what is your favorite “banned or frequently challenged book”?

Mmm., there's many, actually. My top ones would have to be: THE HUNGER GAMES, and TWENTY BOY SUMMER. And I really don't understand how these books were challenged. Especially Twenty Boy Summer. I mean, that novel was absolutely beautiful.

If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?
Edit: There aren't any spoilers in this post, by the way. They're just my opinions. I didn't say anything too specific.

I haven't finished too many series. The Hunger Games ending was good and mindblowing, and to be honest, I liked how Twilight ended. I haven't read Harry Potter..................but trust me, I'm getting on that. Oh, but I do have something I'd like to change with The Mortal Instruments series. I thought it would be best if it ended with City of Glass. I was satisfied with the ending and how all had turned out. But you know, there just had to be a follow-up. Although I really liked City of Fallen Angels, I didn't really mind. I just would have preferred if it ended with City of Glass.

What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation?

Autumn is that time of weather between too hot and too cold. I love those kinds of temperatures. They're perfect to me. Dressing up is part of the fun, too. Ohhhhhh, and Lola and the Boy Next Door is going to be released soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D And oddly enough, I'm excited for school to start! University, heree I come!!!!!!!

In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

Hmmmmm, such a good question!! I'd have to say a witch...or MAYBE a shapeshifter...Ahhh, I cannot decide!

In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer...let's talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?
I haven't read much about fae...maybe a few novels or series. But the best one I would have to say is The Iron Fey series. Just the thought of it makes me want to smile out loud! I looooove that series so much. Yup, Sarah knows what I'm talking about. We both share a loving passion for that series, lending each other (mostly her lending me) the books! Haha.

What's so good about it? Um, everything? If you haven't tried the series yet, I believe you're missing out!

When did you realize reading was your passion and a truly important part of your life?

It was in my young teen years. Specifically, summer of 2009. Err, I went to my old blog, Endless Books, to find that out. But that summer, I was constantly reading books that I borrowed from the library. And this is what I said:

"I have read countless books ever since summer began this year though sadly, I never really kept track of them. I have also thought of making a list of all the books I have read this year, starting in the very beginning of the year, like in January....but it's too late for that now and I absolutely cannot wait for next year. So what I've decided to do is create a blog of the books I've read (and the books I have yet to read) and take it one step further: I will review each single one and share my thoughts. It's something I've done before, but now I'm going to be focusing on it and enjoy the precious moments in doing so. ;)" -- quote from my old book blog, Endless Books. July 25 2009.

Yup, that was an actual blog post. Then when I entered the blogosphere, I began searching out blogger friends, information on blogging, and I just kept sharing my thoughts. Few years later, here I am! I love book blogging and the blogging experience. Being able to share your thoughts about the one thing you love most to people who also love the thing you love most? The feeling is incredible!

Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
Well, whatta tough question! I love almost all YA (mmm, I haven't tried all of them) including contemporary, dystopian, a bit of historical, paranormal, steampunk...But for a favourite? I really can't decide between contemporary or dystopian. I love both so much! Some books in these categories are:

Dystopian:
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - Classic, to say the least. Will always be one of my most fave dystopian reads.
Delirium by Lauren Oliver - Whatever Lauren Oliver writes, it seems, I will love it.
Wither by Lauren DeStefano - It was pretty darn good too. Not to mention the writing was phenomenal.

Contemporary:
Sarah Dessen novels! - I've yet to read What Happened to Goodbye, ahhh.
Courtney Summer novels - Ohhh my. I've read her first two books, Cracked Up To Be and Some Girls Are. Amazingggg.
Ballads of Suburbia by Stephanie Kuehnert - The emotion in this.... it's undescribable. I loved it so much.
Oh and Sarah Ockler novels - I read Twenty Boy Summer and have yet to read Fixing Delilah. So memorable.

How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?

Mkay. So when we say the "To-Be-Read Pile", we talk about the books we have lying on our bookshelves just waiting to be read, right? Not the endless Goodreads list that I might possible read in the near or far future? Okay, just clearing that up. I hope that's right.

Well, there's about several unread books (or...more) on my bookshelf. Anddd the ones I want to read? They're running out! I've put books to the bottom of my TBR pile because, well, it's a certain book I'd like to read in a certain mood. So I will have to get through all of them...eventually.

Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?
Holy cow, this is hard! What the heck! I haven't even read 10 dystopian novels I don't think...But I did hear tons of awesome things about some which I would be willing to include in the list:

1) The Hunger Games Trilogy - 3 (all star favourite!!!)
2) Delirium - 1 (the others in the series aren't released yet!)
3) Divergent - 1 (look at its ratings and reviews...holy horses! and this is the one i haven't read.)
4) The Uglies Trilogy - 3 + 1 (the 2nd earliest series I read! this calls for a reread!)
5) The Giver - 1 (okay, I only read the 1st one in class and I hadn't a clue about the others in the series. but this one is a classic for sure.)

Summer is coming quickly - what 2011 summer release are you are most looking forward to?

Ooh, another question that makes me have to choose a book! First of all, I'm already looking forward to summer vacation. It'll be the best summer yet, I can guarantee that. And second of all, it's so difficult to pick just one release! If I had to...I'd pick The Summer I Learned How to Fly by Dana Reinhardt. I already chose it for my WoW at one point but I don't care because I'm really really excited for its release! Just the title and cover of it makes me want to pick it up!

Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.
Yes! A couple people actually. Only a couple, which is quite good enough for me. First is Sarah from Read Away the Day and she started blogging only recently! We swapped books yesterday, too! I knew that she always had an interest in books but it is also recently that we started talking in depth about the things we like such as The Mortal Instruments. And now she's got a blog so we can talk about books as much as we can! Follow her, guys! She's lovely!

Second is Steff, who used to be a part of this blog for a while. You can still see some of her reviews by clicking here. Now though, she would often ask me what amazing books are a must-read and I would tell her and then she would buy it at the bookstore. Or sometimes, I just lend her my copies. Then we'd talk about it!

Third is Marga (or Alessandra). She likes books and is sometimes picky when it comes to what she likes, hehe. I lent her The Hunger Games trilogy, which is the only series we both love. But hey, we talk about it a lot even in casual conversation:
"He totally looks like a Gale."
"Yeah, he could be your Gale!"
"But I like Peeta."
"Well then he could be your Peeta on the inside, and Gale on the outside."

I have another friend and her name is Meghan. She was my best friend in the elementary school I moved out of. Thanks to the ever popular Facebook, we still chat about series such as The Mortal Instruments and The Hunger Games. Haha, those seem to be the popular ones. I haven't seen her in forever though, but I'm just glad we get to talk about books!

Pick a character from a book you are currently reading or have just finished and tell us about him/her.

Ahhhhhh, okay. I'm reading Clockwork Angel right now and it's pretty darn good. It's tough to pick just one character, are you kidding me! I could either talk about Will or Jem and all their awesome qualities...but I'll go for the amazing heroine, Tessa. She's been through a lot due to her ability, which I will not explain further. So far from what I've seen of her, she is brave and funny and really great. Most of all, she loves books! Put all those together and you have a wonderful heroine. I'm excited to read more about Tessa and her ability and her journey in the world of Shadowhunters. How I missed Cassandra Clare and her books!

Give us 5 book-related silly facts about you.

These are not silly at all. :(

1. I borrow most of the books I read from the library. Rarely do I buy them from bookstores.

2. Romance plots are like the straw to my berry. Lol! I'm kidding...it's not that close. But I really, really love romance plots.

3. I bring a book with me anywhere (unless I don't have a book I'm currently reading). If you open my purse right now, you'd see a book. Seriously.

4. Oh my gosh I'm a sucker for covers. I know you're not supposed to judge a book by its covers, but I admit that it's hard! It's what attracts you first thing!

5. Young adult is my love.

How did you come up with your blog name?

I had personal blogs before this and they all included a bunch of my thoughts on how my day was, and what I was looking for, etcetcetc. So I noticed, heeyy, I like writing about my thoughts! I was also just introduced to becoming a bookworm so I combined book + thoughts together and somehow I came up with A Bookful of Thoughts! It's rather interesting because I still remember going to the dictionary website and searching up "bookful". The word did exist when I looked it up, but now I'm not so sure since it's being underlined in red. And I don't think it's a good thing. Hehe.

Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?

I can only handle so much plots! I read one book at at time because I like to focus on it entirely. And frankly, I would get lost with where I left off if I read more than one book. But then again, I read textbooks and such from school too, which I suppose should throw me off a bit. But that's different, yeah?

Who are You the Boy/Girl, instead of You the Blogger?

Ahh, I love these questions! Any questions about me I love to answer because I can talk endlessly about myself. It's a true fact amongst humans...although I know of some people who this fact does not apply to.

I am a hopeless romantic who loves sports, reading, writing, and living life. Okay *grins* now let me expand on that.

Hopeless romantic - My friends always make fun of me for this, and I actually laugh along with them. When we watch TV shows about wedding dresses, they wonder out loud what my wedding dress would look like and what theme my wedding would be and most importantly, who I will wed. It's funny because all their guesses match exactly who I am and my personality. That's only one example out of many. Another one would be that I am a sucker for romance plots in books. You will probably notice that in my reviews.

Sports - I absolutely love being active as well as eating healthy! Ever since this summer after going to the local gym three times a week, I fell in love with it. I love the feeling of the soreness in muscles. It's the reason why I'm playing rugby. Sort of.

Reading & Writing - These two are tied together. Reading is a lifestyle to me; I read all. The. Time. Without it, I wouldn't have the inspiration to write. And when I write, I feel the need to let everything out. Therefore, I have a word document entitled "musings". Each musing is a paragraph long, and they're about anything, whether I relate to it or not.

Living Life - My aim is to be happy in life. It can be now, or later, or in the far future. But all I know is I want to be happy. And I also do want to feel infinite at least once in my life. (The Perks of Being A Wallflower, anyone?)

I'm still a student (soon-to-be-university student) but this is me so far. And I'm loving it. :)

If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?

One of my reading-related goals is to own all John Green's books. :D Yeah! Right now I only have Paper Towns, given to me as a present from Steff. But the others I've yet to have! After that, I would get:

Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles
Candor by Pam Bachorz
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta

I think this would exceed $80...but that's okay! I can make an exception for books, haha.

Why do you read the genre that you do? What draws you to it?

Mainly I love YA. I really, really do. There are all kinds of sub-genres that I end up enjoying like a little kid high on cotton candy. I get giggly when I read romance, I get spooked or alert when I read paranormal, and I get teary and touched when I read contemporary. It's the connection between me and the book, the characters that draws me in. And I love the feeling.

The question this week is:

What are your New Years book blogging resolutions?

Ooh this is such a fun question! Alright, here I go!

1. Go wide and comment on everybody's blogs! Not just on a selected few...but everybody's! I follow lots and lots of blogs, but I'll be sure to comment more often. I promise. :)

2. Hold more giveaways. Remember when I said I'd host a giveaway the minute I get a job? Yes, well, that still applies. But I'll be sure to get a part-time job very very soon this year. Seriously! It's already in the works!

3. Read 100+ books, of course. That'll always be a goal every single year ;)

4. Write! I miss writing. I miss creating up worlds in my mind and expressing them in words. I only finished one full story, but that is way, way long time ago and I was way, way young so it's not the best. Still, I aim to write (shorter) stories this year.

5. Use NetGalley. I was soooo happy when I discovered NetGalley! Now that I have a Sony e-book reader *wink*smile* I can easily read e-books. And I just did so (and finished one) this week! Yeah!

6. Last but not least, I should relax about book blogging. It can certainly take a toll on us, sometimes, so all we need to do is take a break once in a while. Especially now that I'll be graduating and heading off into the next step in education. Ooh, scary. But exciting!!

Happy New Years Eve, everyone!

The question this week is:

What are your plans for Christmas?

Ooh, Christmas day! I'm way, way excited! Let's see...First thing will be to open presents for fun, even if I already know what's inside. I'll be spending some time with it for a while and then read for a few moments. I might also be helping my mom cook some food that we'll be bringing over to the two houses we'll visit that night. Then we leave for the first house in the afternoon, chill for a while, give and receive presents to and from them, and then we leave just in time for dinner in another's house. That's the part I'm looking forward most, to be quite honest! There is a Secret Santa thing going on with the youth, so that includes me. I'm pretty curious as to who had the easiest job of picking me. (I'd be surely happy with anything...most of all, books!). There are other games as well as entertainment such as dancing, singing, poetry reading. It's all so cool!

All of that is basically my day! Time with family is so precious and I look forward to spending it with people I love. I quite enjoy it at the same time so that's a win-win situation ;)

The question this week is:

How many blogs do you follow?

My response:

Tons! 352 blogs, to be exact. I mostly discover new ones through giveaways and such. It's fun to get to know new bloggers! There are some whom I visit on a regular basis, but I also do try my best to look through others and comment.

And hey, it's my first blog hop! I love answering questions, especially interview type of questions. So I'll definitely be participating in the future! :)
